The annual list of United Soccer Coaches High School All-New England honorees has been released, and 58 players from the region have been included.
Connecticut led the way with 21 players, while Massachusetts was next up with 15 players. Maine had 10 players, New Hampshire had five players, Rhode Island had four players and Vermont had three players.
In all, three goalkeepers, seven defenders, 32 midfielders and 16 forwards were included in the team. This exercise always leans heavily on attacking players, so that concentration in the final third is par for the course.
