Massachusetts led the way with 21 players, while Connecticut was next up with 18 players. Maine had 11 players, New Hampshire had six players, Vermont had four players and Rhode Island had two players.
In all, five goalkeepers, four defenders, 22 midfielders and 35 forwards were included in the team. This exercise always leans heavily on attacking players, so that concentration in the final third is par for the course.
