When the 2020 high school season gets underway in Connecticut, many of the state's top players will no longer be around.
Chloe Landers (Glastonbury, Conn.) will be starting her freshman year at UConn, and similar fates await Mia Gonzalez (Westport, Conn.) at Cornell and Jess Kondic (Oxford, Conn.) at High Point – to name a few.
However, plenty of talent remains throughout Connecticut and should step into the CIAC's spotlight. There's also the backdrop of Glastonbury (Class LL), Guilford (Class L) and others defending state championships as newcomers and holdovers gear up.
