UNH expects another deep NCAA tournament run

When the NCAA tournament selection show got underway on Monday afternoon, head coach Marc Hubbard couldn’t help but notice how the conversation around his team has changed in recent years.

As back-to-back America East champions, the University of New Hampshire now carries a greater sense of expectation.

“The team, they’re just more comfortable with the position they’re in,” Hubbard said to New England Soccer Journal. “Going into the selection show, we’re on the edge of our seats because we want a bye. Looking at a few years years ago, we’re in the locker room by ourselves and hoping. Now we’re with a big crowd and everyone is around it.”
