When Central Connecticut State exited the NCAA tournament last week, the Spring 2021 Division I women’s soccer season in New England officially concluded.
Eighteen teams across the region competed from mid-February to late April, returning after the COVID-19 pandemic sidelined nearly everyone last fall. The four Ivies (Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale) didn’t compete and Hartford eventually opted out, but schools largely found a way forward.
