Roxbury Latin, GPS Massachusetts midfielder Jack Cloherty commits to Brown

The list of local players as part of Brown's Class of 2020 keeps on growing, as senior midfielder Jack Cloherty (Wellesley, Mass.) committed to the Ivy League program earlier this summer.

Cloherty, who plays in the NEPSAC for Roxbury Latin and in the NPL for GPS Massachusetts, is the third player from New England to pledge to the Bears. The others are GPS New Hampshire midfielder Charlie Adams (Norwich, Vt.) and Cloherty's club teammate, center back Taha Kina (Maynard, Mass.).

So, what sealed the deal for the 17-year-old? Among other things, head coach Pat Laughlin and his staff.
