After a hiatus, the New England Soccer Journal Podcast has returned.
Before delving into more on Episode 1, we wanted to give our listeners a sense of what to expect. Our host, Jonathan Sigal, will be connecting with some of the region’s biggest coaches, players and names, going beyond what you already see online and in our print and digital magazine.
You can also listen to each show across a variety of platforms, whether it’s Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Play Music, Stitcher or TuneIn. Be sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts, and if there’s another platform you think we should be on, please email email@example.com.
For Episode 1, which can be found below, we connected with Cat Barry (Hingham, Mass.) and Kylie Stannard, both of whom have left quite the stamp on New England soccer during the 2019-20 season.
Barry’s a senior forward at Tabor Academy, and has long featured for NEFC in the club space. She’s also a South Carolina Class of 2020 commit and recent U.S. U-20 international.
As for Stannard, he’s the head men’s soccer coach at Yale, and has engineered quite the turnaround in New Haven, Conn. He’s led the Bulldogs from a one-win team to Ivy League champions in five years, and has a top freshman class coming in next fall.
