The Ivy League will be the last Division 1 conference in the region to open new seasons when games get underway next Friday.
Brown (at Hofstra), Dartmouth (vs. Holy Cross), Harvard (vs. Fairfield) and Yale (vs. Buffalo) will all be in action, the first games that count in nearly two years after no season was held last year due to the pandemic.
For some teams, it’s a chance at a fresh start. Others, meanwhile, will try to build on the momentum they created during the last season in 2019.
Here are some storylines and players to watch.
