Emmanuel Boateng, AJ DeLaGarza bring MLS know-how to Revolution

When the New England Revolution signed winger Emmanuel Boateng and defender AJ DeLaGarza earlier this offseason as free agents, both moves had shades of 2016.

A half-decade ago, they were teammates on Bruce Arena's LA Galaxy side, long before they’d reunite in Foxboro, Mass., for the 2021 campaign.

With New England starting preseason earlier this week, it’s therefore no surprise that the veterans both spoke glowingly about again playing under the 69-year-old Arena, who’s entering his second full year as the Revolution's head coach and sporting director.
