D3 Women: Who were New England’s top first-years in 2021?

With the 2021 college soccer season in the rearview mirror, we’re shining the spotlight on first-years who made the most of their opportunity.

We’ve opted for a Best XI format and arranged the group in a 4-3-3 formation, with 10 different programs represented. Eight of the players have New England hometowns.

Now, we should note how challenging it was to select only 11 players. It meant tough omissions like Tufts defender Jordan Cushner, Suffolk defender Grace Owens (Sutton, Mass.), Endicott midfielder Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.), Westfield State forward Delaney Parker (Orange, Mass.) and more.

Without further ado, let's get underway.
