Best XI: Who were New England’s top D3 women’s players in 2021?

It was a memorable season for Division 3 women’s soccer in New England, highlighted by Wesleyan University reaching the Final Four in its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

The mighty NESCAC once again proved to be a force to be reckoned with, MIT showed that it could compete with anyone in the nation, and numerous players from the region claimed prestigious accolades.

In that spirit, we wanted to honor players from programs in our six-state area that added to the excitement this past season.

Sorted in a 3-4-3 formation, here’s our women’s D3 Best XI for the 2021 season. Seven of the players chosen are New England natives.
