The Connecticut College men’s soccer team is chasing more history, playing the program’s first-ever Final Four game on Friday night when battling Washington & Lee in Greensboro, North Carolina (5 pm ET).
The Camels (17-4-1, 8-2 NESCAC) have reached this point by adhering to a possession-based system that head coach Reuben Burk has employed to great success, fueling a fourth straight NCAA tournament appearance.
While the NESCAC is known for its intensity and physicality, Burk’s vision follows a 4-3-3 formation that values the ball and breaks opponents down, knowing when to throttle the tempo. And now they’re one win away from Saturday's Division 3 national championship game.
