NESCAC soccer was in the national spotlight this past weekend, with the New England-centric conference comprising one-fourth of the Sweet 16 field in the Division 3 men’s soccer NCAA tournament.
Both Amherst and Tufts hosted sectionals, with Connecticut College and Middlebury also gunning for Final Four spots come Dec. 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
What followed was a D3 Men’s weekend for the ages, at least from a regional perspective, with all four reaching the Elite Eight on Sunday after Saturday’s initial tests.
