Club spotlight: How Southeast SC shines in Connecticut

As New England’s club soccer landscape continues to evolve and change – seemingly at a rapid rate during the past year-plus of the COVID-19 pandemic – the need to stay true to your identity has only grown.

Just ask Southeast SC, a community-focused club that’s remarkably honest with itself about its niche in the Connecticut marketplace.

“What we've seen in our time, it's almost harder to figure out the youth soccer landscape than it is to figure out COVID,” director of operations Tom Butler said. “They're both changing so quickly.”
