Even though Boston College has a shortened roster this spring, its final-third combinations can prove explosive when everyone’s in top form.

The Eagles (1-2) approached that on Saturday, blowing past Louisville 4-0 at home to reach the halfway point of their ACC schedule.

BC leans upon a 50/50 blend of local and Icelandic talent, with Amos Shapiro-Thompson (Worthington, Mass.) and Kristofer Konradsson in the attacking midfield roles, supporting strikers Michael Suski (Avon, Conn.) and Stefan Sigurdarson. Against the Cardinals, Suski had a brace and Sigurdarson had three assists.
