When U.S. Soccer releases a women’s youth national team roster, it typically is littered with players from California, New Jersey, Texas and other such hotbeds. That in no way, however, means players from New England aren’t a part of U.S. Soccer’s broader plans, and deservedly so.
Over roughly the last 12 months, 11 players with ties to the region – namely centered in Massachusetts and Connecticut – have worn the red, white and blue.
