A second Class of 2021 forward from NEFC’s U-17 Development Academy team has verbally committed, with Ellie Rappole (Winchester, Mass.) recently pledging her college soccer future to Yale University.
Rappole, 16, follows Francesca Yanchuk (Attleboro Falls, Mass.) committing to Providence College, and outlined how Yale entered her college search process relatively late. She went for a visit in October, and then made her decision after the DA Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., this past month.
