Bowdoin is no stranger to recruiting out of the NEPSAC ranks. The transition from prep schools around New England to Division 3 programs in the NESCAC is usually seamless, after all.
So as the Polar Bears assemble their Class of 2020, they’ve again gone that route via Worcester Academy senior midfielder Carlton Steinberg (Westboro, Mass.), who verbally committed earlier this week.
Steinberg went to an ID clinic on their campus in Brunswick, Maine, and then things progressed from there. He noted how well he got along with head coach Scott Wiercinski and assistant coach Peter Mills, too.
