Much like their children, parents of young soccer players form an interesting group of connected individuals every week on the sidelines.
While they’re not actually on the field kicking the ball, they’re all gathered together trying to will their children to victory.
But those similarities aside, there are plenty of different types of soccer parents:
• Loud and proud — These parents aren’t shy about loudly cheering on their kids, occasionally to the dismay of those directly around them. This eager approach can manifest itself through laser focus on their child or general commentary in support of the team. Whether it’s exuberance or negativity, you’re always clear where these folks stand.
