As we get deeper into the spring, Oakwood Soccer Club Girls Academy teams have been hitting their stride.
Oakwood’s U-16, U-17 and U-19 sides are all currently holding a winning record as they get a little break before returning to game action on May 7.
On April 9, the U-19s fell to South Shore Select, 4-1, while the U-17s suffered their first loss of the season, 5-1 against South Shore Select, and the U-16s dropped a 3-0 contest to South Shore Select.
Those tough results aside, Oakwood’s teams and players have put forth plenty of quality soccer. Here’s a look at five uncommitted standouts in the program.
