As Rhode Island high school soccer gets ready to enter the 2020s, it's important to reflect on what sort of talent's come through the state.
Marcos Ugarte (Providence, R.I.) starred at Providence Country Day and now features in the USL Championship for Birmingham Legion. Stavros Zarokostas (Coventry, R.I.) was an all-conference midfielder/forward at the University of Rhode Island, and ex-La Salle Academy defender Colin Patch (Providence, R.I) was a four-year starter at Connecticut College.
