Heading into the 2017 season, the University of Vermont faced a simple question: Where would the goals come from?
After all, forwards Brian Wright and Bernard Yeboah (Worcester Mass.), two major catalysts of their 2016 NCAA tournament second-round trip, had graduated after posting a combined 59 goals and 34 assists during their UVM careers.
The answer arose through Geo Alves and Justin Freitas (North Attleboro, Mass.), a pair with Dean College and New England Revolution Academy roots. They combined for 33 goals and 18 assists during the America East program's 2017-18 seasons.
