Following the Winter Showcase down in Florida last week, the halfway point of the inaugural girls Development Academy season is officially here. Here in New England, that meant FC Stars, the Boston Breakers and Oakwood brought their U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams to compete on a national stage.
This point in time, therefore, provides the chance to explore some of the top girls DA players from the fall, including some future D1 pillars and U.S. youth national team mainstays. There’s plenty of room for others to burst onto the scene come the spring portion of the season, but the below have stood out and emerged as leaders for their respective clubs.
