Tabor displays never-say-die attitude to capture Class B trophy

The goal is bound to develop a legacy of sorts at Tabor Academy.

“In my head, I was convinced we needed a miracle, and if we didn’t get one it would be over,” said sophomore striker Jaydah Bedoya (New Bedford, Mass.). “I really didn’t think it would happen.”

Bedoya, a UConn commit, should have had a bit more confidence. Trailing defending Class B champion Thayer Academy by a goal with 30 seconds left, the odds weren’t in the Seawolves’ favor.

But then junior striker Cat Barry (Hingham, Mass.) was fouled, and she stepped up...
