Style, stadium, attitude build New England Revolution home-field advantage

While New England Revolution management has been shopping for new digs, the team has been making the most of the competitive advantages of playing at Gillette Stadium.

In fact, had the Revolution not optimized home-field advantage, recent successful seasons might have ended in mediocrity and mediocre seasons might have been disastrous.

Though the Revolution have declined since finding their way into the top levels of MLS from 2002 to 2009, recent editions of the team have eclipsed the home achievements of the past.

Just look at the Revolution’s longest home unbeaten streaks:
