What started as a strategic alliance in 2018 has evolved into the foundation of a new girls program in the Middlesex County area, with the Boston Bolts and South Shore Select joining forces to establish a Select/Bolts offering.
The development is the latest change in a rapidly-evolving Massachusetts club soccer landscape, with Select/Bolts teams set to join the newly-formed Northeast DPL league in 2020-21.
One key figure is technical director Lauren Ciccone-Jenkins, who’s also the head coach at Dexter Southfield and a former Boston University captain.
