SoccerTown: Worcester, Mass

By Phil ShoreMay 1, 2018

"Worcester has a rich, diverse population and soccer is a great unifier," said Worcester Polytechnic Institute women’s coach Steph Schafer. "On the way to work, I’ll see kids, teens and adults playing soccer on local fields or in parks. In the team’s work within the community, you can see the love of the sport in the kid’s faces when you roll out a ball."
