Sean Munroe sets Clark record, eyes NEWMAC title

Sean Munroe is quick to downplay his latest achievement in a Clark University uniform.

When asked about his goal that broke the program’s career points record, Munroe said he didn’t know about the milestone until after the Cougars’ 4-0 win over Emerson last Saturday.

The fact that Munroe earned his 91st point on Senior Day made surpassing the 12-year old record even sweeter for the senior from Maryland.

“Coming into the season, it was something that I knew I could do,” Munroe, one of three captains this fall, said.
