Revolution II defender and Academy graduate Colby Quiñones (Bedford, N.H.) has been called up to the Puerto Rico Men's National Team for the team’s upcoming friendly against the Dominican Republic.
The two teams will play one another on American soil for the first time on Thursday at Riccardo Silva Stadium on the campus of Florida International University (7:30 p.m. ET).
Quiñones is becoming a mainstay for the Puerto Rico Men's National Team.
The selection marks the fourth Puerto Rico Men’s Senior Team call-up for the Revolution Academy product. Quiñones earned his first two senior caps in June during Puerto Rico’s Concacaf Nations League matches against Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. The defender has also appeared twice for Puerto Rico’s U-20 National Team.
