Who will progress onto the next level and enjoy the most success?

To get a sense of who could reach further heights, we’ve ranked the region’s top 20 Class of 2021 players. By now, a clearer sense of New England’s high-end players has emerged, though no exercise like this is ever perfect. Outside of the top 20, we’ve included an additional group of players to watch for at each position.

One COVID-19 pandemic layer to be mindful of: players who were originally in the Class of 2020, but have deferred enrollment and will now be in the Class of 2021. That definitely has complicated the landscape, so we selected from the more natural class year.

In the meantime, check out our Class of 2021 recruiting database here. Any updates or additions can be emailed to commits@nesoccerjournal.com.
