Recruiting Notebook: Odds and ends from New England’s colleges

Updates from Div. 1 and Div. 3 men's programs

It's been a lean half decade at Bryant, as the Division 1 program has fallen off the map some since Brett Larocque and Connor Norat, the program's two all-time leading scorers, have graduated.

But the Bulldogs' Class of 2023 recruiting class suggests the program could start to turn the corner in the Northeast Conference, especially after reaching their tournament championship game this past fall. Bryant hadn't reached that stage since 2013.

Head coach Seamus Purcell has brought in seven new players, six of whom are from New England. On paper, this is the strongest class the program from Smithfield, R.I., has brought in for quite a while.
