The Class of 2022 at New Hampshire continues to grow, with New England Surf State Grey 2004 defender Isaac Heffess (Brookline, Mass.) verbally committing to the Wildcats earlier this week.

Heffess, 17, joins Seacoast United U-19 MLS NEXT midfielder Taig Healy (South Hampton, N.H.) as local players heading to UNH two seasons from now.

Naturally, the Division I program’s success jumped off the page. UNH has made four straight NCAA tournaments and won the last three America East titles, continuing a steady rise under head coach Marc Hubbard. They finished the 2020-21 season ranked No. 19 nationally, the highest of any team from the region.
