Alanna Coffie (Warwick, R.I.) knew she wanted to stay close to home when deciding on her college destination.
Fortunately for the talented forward, she didn’t have to look far to find a perfect landing spot that would provide her the level of soccer competition and academic program that she desired at the next level.
Coffie, a Class of 2022 striker for Bayside FC and Pilgrim High School (Warwick, R.I.), recently committed to continue her soccer career at nearby Providence College.
"I just wanted to stay near my family," said Coffie. "That was very important."
