Some of the top boys prep soccer teams in New England had an opportunity to see how they measure up against top-notch competition this past Sunday.
Perennial power Northfield Mount Hermon hosted a six-team jamboree that included four NEPSAC programs and two from outside of the NEPSAC, those being Hoosac and Woodstock Academy. In the opener at 9 a.m., Williston Northampton faced Hoosac, a school out of Hoosick, N.Y. That was followed by Berkshire against host NMH. And in the day’s finale it was Milton Academy taking on Woodstock.
Williston Northampton and Hoosac played to a 1-1 draw. Northfield Mount Hermon impressed to the tune of a 5-1 victory. And Milton Academy played deep and fell to Woodstock, 2-1.
