As high-profile Division III programs like Amherst and Williams cancel their fall 2020 seasons on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, a NJCAA powerhouse from Boston also won’t compete this year.
Bunker Hill Community College, consistently a top-10 side that’s won eight Region XXI championships since 2010, announced in June that its entire athletics program is suspended for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Bulldogs are expected to be reinstated and compete in 2021, but men’s head coach Scott Benjamin is worried about a longer pause.
