Quinnipiac, sparked by Eamon Whelan, peaking at right time in MAAC

Early on, the results simply weren’t coming for Quinnipiac.

Tough matches against higher-profile programs – Boston College, New Hampshire, UMass and North Carolina State – stained the Bobcats’ record. On Sept. 11, they were 0-4-1.

And then something clicked.
