After the Atlantic 10 and CAA announced plans for an adjusted fall season in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big East unveiled changes of its own Monday that’ll impact the impending men’s and women’s soccer seasons at Providence and UConn.
In an effort to reduce air travel and be budget-friendly, New England’s two Big East schools will compete in the East Division and avoid Midwest Division opponents.
Teams will twice play divisional opponents in a double round-robin format, while postseason details will be announced at a later date.
