The 2019 NEPSAC girls soccer ended over two weeks ago, with four champions crowned on the campus of Deerfield Academy. Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Class A), Rivers (Class B), Canterbury (Class C) and Vermont Academy (Class D) brought home the various trophies, all as the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in their respective tournaments.
But who were some standouts beyond those four groups? To answer that, New England Soccer Journal has named its Best XI from the 2019 season.
The below group, which is organized in a 3-4-3 formation, is designed to be an all-star team of sorts. There were some high-end talents in prep school soccer this fall, as the league continues to grow.
Of the 11 players named, nine are from New England. Connecticut and Massachusetts both have several representatives.
