Prep Boys: Year-end awards announced

Just like that, the prep school soccer season is over.

Only four teams – Berkshire, Middlesex, Millbrook and Lexington Christian Academy – ended their seasons with a win, while every other program is back to the drawing board ahead of 2019. As coaches and players look forward, it's apt to reflect upon the season that was.

From all that unfolded this fall, New England Soccer Journal has handed out its year-end awards. Selections were made for the following: top goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, player, breakout, unsung hero, newcomer and coach.
