Back on Sept. 22 at the Northeast Soccer Jamboree, some questions surfaced as to whether Worcester Academy could hang with this year's perceived top Class A teams.

The Hilltoppers (8-1-1), after all, were handed a 3-0 defeat by Northfield Mount Hermon and shutout for the first time since Oct. 1, 2018 against Pomfret.

But head coach James Proctor's team has admirably responded with five straight wins, including two statement results on the road against fellow Class A contenders. Last week, the 2018 finalists beat Loomis Chaffee, 3-1, and then Avon Old Farms, 5-1.
