Now, as the one-two punch dropped Wednesday of U.S. Soccer terminating the Development Academy and MLS starting its own elite development league, that role has only increased.
That fact isn’t lost on Revolution technical director Curt Onalfo (Ridgefield, Conn.), who offered perspective as the country’s boys and girls soccer landscapes were upended.
