When the 2020 version of US Club Soccer’s id2 National Selection International Tour takes place from March 13-24 in England and Scotland, two players will represent New England.

The girls team includes 18 players born in 2005, with two prep school/FC Stars standouts on the roster. They are Worcester Academy midfielder Avery Galante (Hubbardston, Mass.) and Buckingham Browne & Nichols midfielder/forward Frankie Valverde (Grafton, Mass.).

The boys team has an 18-person roster of 2006s, but doesn't include any players from New England. However, FC Stars director of coaching Jason Dewhurst has been named head of delegation for the trip.
