Noel Buck (Arlington, Mass.) made some Revolution II history on Sunday evening, becoming the first Revolution Academy youth player to score in a professional match for the USL League One side.
Buck tallied his first professional goal in the 54th minute of a 2-2 draw with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at Gillette Stadium, helping the reserve squad earn points for the first time since its mid-April season opener.
Buck’s goal was the byproduct of fullback Connor Presley crossing from the right flank, sliding home past Chattanooga’s goalkeeper after the initial service was deflected.
