NMH midfielder Liam Dillon verbally commits to Hobart

Despite being in Geneva, N.Y., the Hobart men’s soccer roster often resembles one right in New England’s own backyard.

After all, the 2018 version of the Statesmen had 16 players from the region, then seven who came from the prep school ranks.

So it comes as no surprise to learn that another NEPSAC product will head to the Liberty League program for 2020, as Northfield Mount Hermon senior midfielder Liam Dillon (Williston, Vt.) recently verbally committed there. Dillon looked at several other Division 3 schools, but quickly felt as though Hobart was home – largely thanks to an unofficial visit with head coach Shawn Griffin and assistant coach Andrew Bednarsky.
