A month out from their 2021 MLS season opener, the New England Revolution have signed Iceland international winger Arnór Traustason.
The 27-year-old is under contract through 2022 with a club option for a third year, arriving on an undisclosed transfer fee from Swedish top-flight side Malmö FF.
Mainly playing on the left, Traustason has five goals in 37 games with Iceland’s national team. His 11-year professional career has also produced stints at Austrian Bundesliga side Rapid Wien and Greek side AEK Athens, highlighted by 20 goals and 17 assists in 107 matches with Malmö.
