New England connections for 2019 MLS season

The 2019 Major League Soccer season is less than two weeks away.

As anticipation builds, you might be wondering who you can watch with ties to New England. To make that search easier, New England Soccer Journal has assembled every MLS player who's either from the region, went to college here, or attended a NEPSAC program. In all, 30 players are included within.

The first official games arrive this week, as locals on Atlanta United, New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC ready for Concacaf Champions League action.

Will a New England native raise MLS Cup like last year? That quest starts quite soon.
