While most of New England's Division 3 men's soccer scene has come out of hibernation, it's been an extra-long winter for the 11 NESCAC programs in our country's top conference.
Their first competition date this year is Sept. 7 (Tuesday), then it's right into conference games on Sept. 11 (Saturday). The final regular-season date is Oct. 26, so it's going to be a fast-and-furious seven weeks before the NESCAC tournament rolls around.
As anticipation turns to competition, we've explored some key storylines and questions that are bound to frame the 2021 NESCAC campaign. The vacated 2020 season (due to COVID-19, mind you) makes this exercise a bit harder, but there's still plenty to mull over.
