Top 20: South Kent, Worcester Academy lead final NEPSAC rankings of 2019

Way back in August, we conducted a preseason coaches poll for NEPSAC boys soccer. It allowed coaches to anonymously vote on who they felt the region's top teams were, and then votes were tallied up on our end to create an initial top 20 teams.

That poll had Berkshire at No. 1, though the Bears lost in this fall's Class A tournament quarterfinals. Choate Rosemary Hall and Middlesex also cracked the top 10 in preseason, but neither ultimately made the playoffs.

The grander point is as such: Preseason predictions don't always pan out, and a lot can change over a few months. After all, how many people thought Worcester Academy would win Class A? Probably not too many.

Now that the season has come and gone, our final rankings of the 2019 season are here. We've again sorted teams No. 1 through No. 20, and several honorable-mention sides are also included. Let's get underway:
