The first NEPSAC Class A girls soccer tournament in two years has a little bit of everything.
It’s got a clear favorite (maybe even two). Upstart programs that have jumped onto the radar. Great players who we’ll be following in college a year or two or three from now. And -- for players and coaches who were sidelined a year ago -- a healthy dose of appreciation, too.
The tournament begins with quarterfinal games on Wednesday at the home of the higher seed. Semifinals are Saturday and the championship will be Sunday at Deerfield Academy (11 a.m.).
Let’s break down Wednesday's quarterfinal matchups and make some predictions.
