By the end of the weekend, we should know what the NEPSAC girls tournament brackets look like.
Quarterfinal matches in all four Classes (A, B, C and D) will take place Wednesday, Nov. 15, with the championships slated for Sunday, Nov. 19. At this point, with just one matchday left in the regular season, the tournament that’s taken the clearest shape is Class A.
New England Soccer Journal decided to have a go at figuring out which eight teams will make up the Class A playoff field. Along with the won/loss record, the tourney selection committee puts weight on quality wins, conference performance and strength of schedule.
